Hello lovely people 🙂
So a minor warning, this is a picture heavy post, which is usually not my thing, but there was so much pink, and I couldn’t help but to snap away! With Valentines day coming up, I figured I’d do a quick makeup look with all the goodies that I received from The Butterfly Project<3
From left: Collection Cosmetics Hotlights Lipgloss (RM24.90/6ml), Koji Dolly Wink Liquid Eyeliner (RM55.90), Maybelline Baby Lips Electro Pop in Pink Shock (RM14.90, 3.5g) and the Maybelline Color Show Nail Polish in 010 Pink Voltage (RM9.90/6ml).
Most of the items are available at any pharmacies in Malaysia, with the exception of The Koji Dolly Wink Liquid Eyeliner which is available at Sasa.
Lets delve into the review 🙂
Since I’ve had the Koji Dolly Wink Liquid Eyeliner in my stash, I’ve been using it non stop almost every day. Pigmentation is crazy amazing, and the tip of the liner is extra sharp allowing precision where needed. It dries within seconds, however, it doesn’t last as long as I hoped it would. Max, say 4-6 hours without smudging?
Have a look at the swatch of the liner.
Item 2 is actually a new-found love. Everyone and their grandmother has been raving about Maybelline’s Baby Lips, but I never did pick up a tube since to me,it was just a lip balm with extra cutesy packaging. But since I’ve been using Pink Shock, I have absolutely loved it. Its moisturizing (thanks to the Shea Butter & Vit E), smells like watermelon which is just lovely, & leaves a slight pink tinge that looks so natural.

More product pics just because.
A swatch of Pink Shock. Not so shocking eh? 😀
The next item up is the Collection Cosmetics Hotlights Lipgloss. Now this product intrigued me the most because not only does it come with a mirror, (10 points for packaging) but it comes with………….
Tadaaaa!!! Lights, Camera, Action! How cool is that? A lipgloss with lights? Now I can touch up my makeup in the dark too. The doe foot tip applies product perfectly, and the colour of the gloss is just too pretty! Shimmer, glitter, and gloss.
On the left, swatch of the gloss. On the right, gloss layered on top of the Maybellines’s Baby Lips Elctro Pop Pink Shock.
The final item for the look will be the Maybelline Color Show Nail Polish in Pink Voltage. Now I’m not the biggest fan on nail polish, but once in a while I do indulge in absent minded nail painting.
Its pink, slightly shimmery, and looks oh so pretty.
Since I already had another shade of pink on my nails, I only can swatch it on one finger for you guys. Sorry =_=”
And here I am rocking my pre-Valentine look ❤ What do you guys think?
Signing off now, & have a great 2015 you all! ❤
