They See Me Haulin’, They Lovin’

Hello awesomepeople!

Weekends means shopping, and shopping leads to hauling!, so lets dig into my latest haul from Kitschen!

shashay (3)

For the past few days, Kitschen has been having sales at some of their selected outlets, and I’ve been wanting to go so badly, since I love Kitschen to bits; their clothes are awesome, really. Prints, pleather, sequins, lace, anything you would want in an outfit, Kitschen probably has it.  I can talk about how much I love Kitschen all day, but I digress.

Kitschen has been organizing Buy 1  Free 1 sales for a while now, so I just had to go, you know? Lucky me, today the selected outlet was at One Utama, and I made my way there! There were so many people, with handfuls of clothes in their arms, and I could feel the shopaholic in me slowly clawing its way into my head, and saying, BUY BUY BUY!

shashay

And I caved. Well not so much. I only brought limited cash so that I don’t exceed my budget. #financialwisdomyall

Oh before that, let me explain the terms and conditions of the sale, just so that y’all are aware before squandering away all your money 😉

  • Buy 1 free 1, which obviously means if you buy one item, the other is free. AND THIS IS STOREWIDE. Shoes, clothes, accessories,&  men and women sections.
  • You will have to pay for the item that costs more, and the item with the lesser value is deemed the free item.
Eg: You’re buying one item for RM99, and the other is RM59. You will only pay Rm 99 for both items.
  • The sale does not apply for items priced less than RM19.90.
  • Any discounts does not apply for the items that you are buying.
Eg: If your buying one item worth RM100, but has a 30% off sticker on it( which means the after discount price is RM70), and another item for Rm59, you will have to pay RM100 for both items, not RM70. All discounts are basically deemed null and void.

I think that’s all, so be forewarned yeah 🙂 And some teaser pictures of the sale maybe?

My haul?

This backless, lace, ombre, high-lo dress which I’ve had my eye on for quite a while now.

shashay (3)

A skater dress with beautiful, Indian inspired embellishments and beading.

shashay (1)

I only wanted to haul dresses, but these bags caught my eye, and I just had to get them!
A simple flap handbag with tribal patterns and motifs. And the other bag is just plain, simple, boring, beige handbag that I intend to use for work.

shashay (2)

And all this cost me less than RM120 for all 4 items. Thats like RM 30 each item. Are you inspired to head to Kitschen now? LOL!

I’m not sure where the next sale is going to be at, so keep your eyes peeled at Kitschen’s FB page, since that’s where all the updates are, links below!

Happy Hauling, and here’s to a great week ahead of us!

My Luxola Malaysia Shopping Spree / Haul

Hello awesomesauces!

As the title says, I went on a shopping spree at Luxola Malaysia recently, and once again, I have lighter pockets. Oh dear me.

The truth is, its been raining heavily the past few days, and I have the post holidays blues, so I haven’t been feeling up to going out, or doing anything much for that matter, apart from re-watching Gossip Girl and online shopping. So I placed my orders for these babies, and am now waiting for them to arrive, but I was too excited for them to arrive, so I’m gonna write about them first!

And so we have the damage for this week! Presenting my Luxola Haul 😉

Item 1: i-Divine Au Naturel Palette by Sleek Make-Up

shashay (1)

I’ve been eyeing the Sleek Make-Up palettes for a while now, and have been considering either Au-Naturel or Sunset, and Au-Naturel was on sale, so add to cart! The earthy shades will fit perfectly for daily use, and the swatches online seem really gorgeous too. The palette is currently on sale for RM35.

Item 2: Deborah Lippmann Nail Lacquer in Boom Boom Pow

shashay (2)

This is the one shade I’ve been loving from the Deborah Lippmann range, and if you’ve seen the swatches online, the colour is uh-mazing! Apparently it contains 24K gold dust as well, which I don’t quite buy, but whatever, the Deborah Lippmann nail lacquers have impressing quality, and the reviews are glowing for her range of nail colours. Its retailing for Rm72.50 and only 4 bottles left in stock, so hurry if you want to get your hands on this colour!

Item 3: REN Glycolactic Skin Renewal Mask

shashay (3)

The Glycolactic Mask has been one of REN’s number one best selling product and its been winning awards left, right and centre for its success in renewing your complexion, reducing the appearance of fine lines and dramatically improving the skin tone. Its a tad pricey, but it works, and I’m game for REN. This is actually the MOST SUPER DUPER favourite product in my haul and the one I’m most excited to try! Its retailing for RM187.00.

Item 4: Egyptian Magic Cream

shashay

This product has been hailed the holy grail item for every skin ailment/problems/issues you might have. It can be used as a face cream, an eye gel, a hair masque, cuticle conditioner, diaper rash cream, prevents stretch marks, burn and wound relief, a baby cream, a shaving balm and anything else you can think of! WTF right?

I’m not sure if the claims are 100% true, but I’m willing to give this product a try, and fingers crossed it works! It retails for RM108.00.

And that’s my damage for this round! I kind of feel guilty for spending so much in one go, but I’m going to be busy at work for the next few weeks and I know I wont be out shopping and spending, so there you have it. I’ll be updating once I receive these babies!

You can shop for these items at luxola.com/my or head to the main page, luxola.com.

Tell me what you think of the items, and if you have tried any of the products before!

So long for now!

Hello awesomesauces!

A quick update on a beauty sale that just finished, right here in Ampang, organized by OnlyBeauty.com, featuring mega sales up to 63% for  major brands like L’Oreal, Garnier, Maybelline and many more! I went with my girls Shivani and Edazz  just yesterday after our Yadah event *expect a blog post coming soon* and lets just say, my purse is slightly lighter now 🙂

For their sale this time around, they are giving away a Free Maybelline Volume Express Magnum Super Film mascara’s worth RM39.90 and a L’Oreal Color Infaillible Eye Shadow! I managed to redeem both the items, so YAY!

We spent quite a bit of time browsing through all the items there, make-up, skin care products & perfumes.

Picture below from Shivani’s Instagram, do drop by her blog here and show her some love!

See all the items available? Maybelline Colour Tattoo’s going for only RM10 a pot,  L’Oreal shampoo’s and conditioners, the list is endless!

shashay

Here’s my haul, not much of a haul considering I only got 3 items. Most of the things/shades I wanted were sold out, so this is my loot! Facial scrub for the boyf since he is always on my mind, the Maybelline Colour Tattoo in Audacious Asphalt and the Maybelline Master Liner in White.

shashay (2)

And these are the freebies we snagged 😉  The Maybelline Magnum Volum’ Expres Super Film Mascara and the L’Oreal Color Infallible eye shadow in the colour Naughty Strawberry, LOL!

Loreal Super Liner Blackbuster Review

Hello awesomesauces!

I’m back again with another review, and today, its the Loreal Super Liner Blackbuster Liquid Liner in Extra Black!

shashay

Now I love eyeliners, I’ve used them since I was like I dunno, 12, 13? And I definitely have more eyeliners than I would admit, since they seem to be the one thing I keep buying and never finishing em up! I look super pale/zombie-fied without any eyeliner on, so yeah, eyeliner is my BFFFFF! My personal preference is to use liquid liner for the top eyelid, and pencil for the lower lid. They smudge less that way! And I have mastered the art of the perfect cat eye, and even bold lines with an awesome flick!

*did a quick headcount and found out I have more than 7 types of liquid ones, about 10 pencil ones, and only 2 gel ones. Not a big fan of gel liners, too much work methinks*

Anyway, as usual, I was doing my random wandering around in the mall when I came across the  Loreal Super Liner Blackbuster Liquid Liner, and I loved the chunky design of it! I mean, really, how many liners come in such a nice fat permanent marker design? I was sold, and PURCHASE !

shashay

The nib of the eyeliner looks like a Sharpie marker pen and its really easy to use since you have a firm grip on the pen, just like holding a marker. It kind of smells like one too, but the smell does disappear and doesn’t stick to your skin. It comes in an all black outer design with gold writing  and embellishments.  It is really easy to control when drawing your eyes, and despite the thick nib, you can achieve different lines in various thicknesses. The top part is defined, and sharp, so you can create thin lines, and the bottom part is rounded, so a thicker line can be achieved.

The eyeliner really dries quickly and leaves a matte finish, and doesn’t smudge even after vigorous wiping and rubbing!

shashay

From top to bottom, Revlon Colour Stat Liquid Eye Liner in Black , Loreal Super Liner Ultra Precision Black, Loreal Super Liner Blackbuster(thinly drawn), Loreal Super Liner Blackbuster (thickly drawn).

You can see how pigmentted the Blackbuster really is!

And I did a quick comparison with the Loreal Super Liner Ultra Precision Black as well just to show you how thick the nib is!

shashay

And how it looks drawn. Left pic shows a thicker line, right one shows the thin line. (1 coat)

shashay

So what do I think , and how does this eye liner score?

Pigmentation: Awesome, super duper black! However you may need 2 coats for a darker colour.

Ease of use: Super easy to use, just like a felt tip pen. But some of you may like smaller less chunky liners.

Durability: Lasts a good 7-8 hours without smudging, or needing reapplication.

Price: It retails for about Rm35/GBP 6.99/ at most drugstores.

Scent: A little like a marker pen, so some of you may not like it.

I would say its about 7/10 , since I find myself using this quite often since I got it. And for the price, definitely not a bad buy.

What do you think? What is your go to eye liner? Let me know in the comments, I wanna know if there are other treasures waiting to be tried and tested too!

A weekend by the causeway.

Hello people!

How was your weekend? What did you do? Where did you go? With whom? LOL. Stalker much Shasha? Anyways, hope y’all had a good one! Me? I went shopping! As usual =D

I spent my weekend at JPO, aka Johor Premium Outlets!

CI-728x364
WOW! The experience is amazing! Left, right, up, down, it was all luxury brands, BUT WITH AWESOME SALES!!!! OMG!

Brands in the house include Adidas, Armani, Burberry, Canali, Coach, Ermenegildo Zegna, Gap, Guess, Lacoste, Michael Kors, Nike, Oroton, Polo Ralph Lauren,Salvatore Ferragamo, Tumi and more..

Me and the boyf was like *jaw drop*. It was our first time there, so forgive our clueless-ness. =P I automatically headed to Victoria’s Secret and La Senza, and I had to dragggg the boyf to follow! =___=

They were having some super amazing price cuts for almost all lingerie and undergarments, PLUS, Victoria’s Secrets bath and body products were going at cheap prices, like 3 bottles of anything for RM120!  Needless to say, I burnt a VERY big hole in my pocket this weekend!

JPO-Victoria-Secret-764x1024

Guess what, the Vincci there had shoes going for like RM20 a pair and the Vincci was empty, hahaaha. What a surprise! Most Vincci outlets are usually packed with people and you cant even try anything on for fear of being trampled to death! I had a n amazing time happily trying out many, many, many pairs of shoes. The other half decided to have a seat in the corner with the other husbands and play Subway Surfer. LOL. Poor thing!

I also got myself a bikini from Cotton On to wear during this weekend Pink N Proper’s Pool Party!  And yes, it was on sale.
But one thing really, there isn’t many places for food, except the food court, where the food isn’t really so good anyway. I had Claypot Chicken Rice, and it was so salty. The boyf had Chicken Spaghetti which tasted like spaghetti with carrot sauce. Yuck.

Apart from that, the only thing I’d advise you guys to do is to take your time to shop. There’s a lot of choices here, and luxury brands being luxury brands, they do tend to get pretty pricey, which is why I didn’t even go into Coach even though I was screaming on the inside. +________+

PS:

Fashion Bazaar 2013

This weekend mainly consisted of shopping, eating and meeting fellow bloggers.
Last Saturday, I headed over to Bangsar for a mini fashion bazaar organized by a bunch of gorgeous ladies. The bazaar was located in the Cloudy Day Boutique, right around Jalan Telawi area, nearby Bangsar village mall.

Image

The bloggers who organized the whole affair!

I went with Amelia, but I got there first, LOL. I always have a habit of showing up wayyy too early. Fashionably late entrances never apply in my case.
Anyway, I had the opportunity to have a quick chat with the owner of Cloudy Day Boutique, Ashley. Apparently the boutique has been around for three years now! They import most of their clothes from Korea, China and Hong Kong.

Luveluxe was also there, hosting a mini showcase as well. I spoke to Jean and Trisha from Luvelux and wow, their HANDMADE clothes are amazing!! Have a look below!

Handmade clutches!

And obviously, the next step, SHOP! At the end of the day, my haul?
A dress, two jackets, a pair of leggings (I think F21 leggings), scalloped shorts and a handbag. And all for less that RM150. Yay bargains!

Image

Chawons collection!

Do you see the epure masks in the jar? I am SO getting them, the reviews are amazing!!
